Ancient Astronauts refers to the idea that intelligent extraterrestrial beings visited Earth and made contact with humans in antiquity. Exist several prehistoric cave paintings throughout the planet featuring strange unidentified entities which do not match any known terrestrial being. According to the history of art our prehistoric relatives used art to represent common scenes they had experienced in their life, portraying them realistically the way they had seen it, or the way they would like reality to be in a sense of abundance, but there was no abstraction back then.
No matter what we can speculate about the true identity of this representations, there’s something sure. Our ancient relatives tried to recreate something, or somebody, and it can’t be explained by the present interpretation of prehistoric art unless we believe what our collective consciousness tells us this might be after watching it. Did our ancestors see something and subsequently recreate it?
We do not have the answer, but I explored this idea through music, to express the sense of mystery it creates within me.
