Beans in catalan

BEANS IN CATALAN
We’ll take fava beans, bacon, black sausage, garlic, and cut it all up.
Put olive oil in the pan and roast the bacon, garlic and sausage in this order.
Add a splash of whiskey before adding the caramelized onion.
We will season with some aromatic herbs, the bay leaf and mint cannot be missing.
Now is the time to add the beans.
A couple of turns and we’ll moisten with broth or vegetable broth, a few turns of black pepper and cover the beans to cook until the beans are almost cooked.
